Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your choices, and to provide analytics. This page lists exactly the cookies and browser storage Nem uses, and why.

2. Your choice and your region

When you first visit our marketing site you see a cookie banner. Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics is optional: in the EU, UK, and Quebec we ask you to opt in before any analytics loads; elsewhere analytics is on by default and you can opt out at any time. Your choice is remembered in a cookie so we do not ask again. You can reopen the banner at any time using the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom-left of any marketing page.

3. Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.

  • nem_cookie_consent - records your analytics choice (granted or denied) so we honor it and do not prompt you again. First-party, expires after one year.
  • nem_region_mode - stores whether your region is opt-in or opt-out, so the banner behaves correctly without any location lookup in your browser. First-party, refreshed daily.
  • Sign-in cookies (on app.nemsol.ai only, when you are signed in) - the session, CSRF, and callback cookies set by our authentication library keep you signed in and protect forms from cross-site request forgery.

Your light/dark theme preference is not a cookie: it is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us.

4. Analytics (optional, de-identified)

We use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) to understand which features get used. When analytics is allowed, PostHog sets first-party cookies (names begin with ph_) that hold an anonymous analytics identifier and your opt-in or opt-out state. We disable session recording, autocapture, and page-URL capture, so these cookies never carry page content, form inputs, or Protected Health Information. If you decline or opt out, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics requests are made. See our Trust Center for the full subprocessor list.

5. Third-party

  • Cloudflare Turnstile - on our sign-in and sign-up pages only, a bot-protection cookie (for example __cf_bm) helps tell humans from automated abuse.
  • Stripe and Retell- when you use billing or place a voice-agent test call inside the app, these embedded providers may set their own cookies. We do not control these; refer to those providers' cookie policies.

6. We do not use advertising cookies

Nem does not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not display ads. We do not track you across unrelated websites.

7. Managing your cookie preferences

Use the cookie banner (reopen it with the "Cookie settings" button) to change your analytics choice. You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in and core functionality.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our cookie practices change.
